I wear my sunglasses at night..

I have a few minutes to myself and my Internet happens to be working at the same time, so I figured I would add some pictures while I can (:

These are the days of my life....

I spend a lot of time at Christmas parties...

costume parties are the best.

I occasionally have sleepovers...

taking interesting pictures is the best part (:

I recently learned how to row a boat...

after about 20 minutes we stopped spinning in circles.

I went to the mountains.

The girls and I decided to go for a hike...

this is as far away from the cottages as we got before deciding to go to the pool instead (:

We spent our day here (:
YO BABBA, it was nice!!
WAAAYYY better than sweating our way up a mountain like the boys.

We were always the loudest table in the restaurant.

And the coolest, obvs.

Everyday I have "help" getting ready,
it only takes about 3 times longer to get ready than if I were to do it myself.

But I am the luckiest girl in the world, I am reminded of that everyday. The things these kids say and do make everything worthwhile.
For example today, I was sitting with some of the boys in my house and we were watching one of their school concerts. I said something about one of the boys in the show looking like he was afraid of the girl he was dancing with.
One of the boys said, "Well maybe the boy doesn't like girls".
Then another piped in and said, "Yeah, girls bite!".
Yo, I laughed and laughed. It was so funny!! He was sooo serious about the whole thing.

It definitely is the little things that make life worthwhile (:

We're the three best friends that anyone could have....

So, I haven't made a post in like forever, and I feel realllly guilty. Every time I have gone near a computer I can just hear my mom's voice, "Make a post Devyn. Keep me updated Devyn". But, my internet tends to be very good at not working when I want it to, and I have been crazy busy lately. I will post pictures and stories later, but tonight I have to write about my BFFFFF (:

At Lambano, there are two volunteers besides myself, Sarah and Liz. Sarah is the logical one. She makes all our decisions for us and takes care of us. I call her Auntie Sarah (:
Liz is the laid back, chill one. She makes
me almost pee my pants just about everyday. She is my BFF (:
Martha works in the office. She reminds me all the time that I am not in small town Superior anymore and that I am in Johannesb
urg, South Africa. She likes to tell me how naive I am. She also likes to tell me I cannot do a lot of things, like hangout out with the boys I meet at the mall. I call her mom (:
She has now adopted me, whether she likes it or not.

LIZZIE
my BFF (:

This girl will be leaving this week and I have noooo idea wha
t I will do without her!!
I spend every morning with her during school runs. It
has become our morning ritual that I sing Adele's Someone Like You to her as well as sing and dance to Moves Like Jagger for her. I know she looks forward to it EVERY SINGLE DAY (: I am sure she is heartbroken to know when she goes home I won't be able to sing to her ALL THE TIME.
I will have to skype her everyday just to call her LIZZZA
AYYY!!! (: She really, really loves it when I scream this and shake my arms and hips (:

She is usually the only one who understands my jokes, or at least laughs at them. Everyone else just shakes their heads.
I always tell her first when I fall in love with a new
guy, which is about every five minutes. I think I may have said I am in love with about half of Johannesburg's men by now. She usually just looks at me and says, "Yes, Devyn. Which boy are you not in love with??". I am really trying to be a one man woman, but it is kind of a lot of work. But once I find my sugar daddy.....
I am just joking, I told Liz she could hit me if I kept talking about finding a sugar daddy (:

So basically, she is just amazing and I am so happy I have her in my life!!
It will not be the same without her around, but I
have Auntie Sarah to lean on (:
My Lizzziieee Poooo (:
I will miss you a bunch and I am going to so blow up your facebook wall everyday (:
I will miss our Seattle Coffee visits, our Adele jam sessions, J. Biebs Fridays which turned into Jk Nicki Minaj Fridays, our never ending search for red velvet cake cupcakes, Tasha's for breakfast, our mini Bible studies in the office, our tea and coffee time, and most of all I will miss our moments when neither one of us can stop laughing and we don't really know why we were laughing in the first place (:

We are the DREAM TEAM, BABY!!! (:

BTW: Anyone who would like to donate to any charity, anywhere in the world, please do not send dresses made out of dirty pillowcases. The Children don't wear them, we volunteers turn on LMFAO's Sexy and I Know It and dance around the office.
Clearly the song is fitting (:
